Thesis Topic

Hannah’s primary theological interest is in the doctrine of reconciliation and how it can be used to address the mass incarceration crisis in contexts like that of the United States. For her thesis, she will draw upon key insights of Karl Barth’s doctrine of reconciliation in order to develop a theologically-grounded account of restorative justice for the socio-political sphere.
